Metro Tour

Today we explored all 11 metro stations in Almaty—each one a world of its own. Every stop was built around a unique theme, showcasing different aspects of the country’s heritage through intricate design and craftsmanship. The transformation from station to station was striking; it felt like stepping into a brand-new transit system each time. It was a surprisingly memorable self-guided tour, revealing the city’s deep pride in both its history and its infrastructure.
